About the Washington Commanders
Team History
Founded in 1932 as the Boston Braves, the Washington Commanders relocated to the Washington metropolitan area in 1937. Throughout their history, they have won three NFL championships and played in two Super Bowls.
Team Colors and Stadium
The Commanders' official colors are burgundy, gold, and white. They play their home games at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, which has a capacity of 91,704.
